Privacy Policy

Effective: September 8, 2026 · 한국어

This policy applies to the web and Android versions of Protect Gyeongbokgung, Cheonrok!

1. Data we process

For online leaderboards, the game processes a Firebase anonymous user ID, a non-identifying block ID, the public nickname you submit, game mode (6 or 9), qualifying clear time, cumulative clears, and play date. To detect invalid submissions, we temporarily process a run ID, server start and finish times, starting tile, wall positions, and the completed path.

Nickname reports include the reporter's anonymous ID, the reported user's anonymous ID and leaderboard entry, the reported nickname, reason, status, and time. Google Firebase and AdMob may process approximate location inferred from IP address, app interactions, device or app identifiers, advertising identifiers, and diagnostics under Google's own policies.

Personal bests, trophy counts, settings, locally blocked leaderboard users, and temporary Mode 9 access are stored on your device and can be removed by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.

2. Purposes and legal bases

We use data to provide the daily Mode 6 and monthly Mode 9 leaderboards, prevent duplicate or invalid submissions, moderate public nicknames, provide advertising, secure the service, and diagnose failures. Depending on applicable law, processing is based on providing the online features you request, our legitimate interests in security and abuse prevention, consent for advertising where required, and legal obligations.

3. Service providers and international processing

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Functions, Firestore, and App Check) and Google AdMob. Google may process service, security, advertising, and diagnostic data outside your country or South Korea. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google Cloud Data Processing Addendum.

4. Retention

Daily Mode 6 and monthly Mode 9 leaderboard periods are kept for up to 35 days after the period ends. Run-verification data becomes eligible for deletion about two hours after creation. Nickname reports are kept for up to 90 days after receipt. A Firebase anonymous user ID may remain until you use the in-app online-data deletion option or it is no longer needed for the service.

Retention of data independently processed by Google is governed by Google's terms and policies.

5. Your choices and rights

You may play offline and keep local personal bests without submitting a public nickname or score. Where an advertising consent message is required, it is shown before ads can be requested; you can revisit the available choice through Ad privacy options below the in-app leaderboard.

You can delete the online data linked to your current anonymous ID by selecting Delete online data below the in-app leaderboard. If you cannot access the app, follow the data deletion request page.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability and may withdraw consent. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live. Contact us using the address below.

6. Security

We use HTTPS, Firebase anonymous authentication, App Check, server-side validation, and Firestore security rules. No security measure is absolute, but we limit processing and review safeguards appropriate to the service.

7. Public nicknames

Do not use a real name, phone number, email address, URL, or other personal data as a public nickname. Automated filtering and user reporting are used to restrict objectionable names, and reported names or records may be hidden or deleted.
